University of Dallas names founding dean of School of Ministry
IRVING The University of Dallas has named Dr. Brian Schmisek has the founding dean of their new School of Ministry. Schmisek had formerly been the director of the school, which was renamed in April from the Institute of Religious and Pastoral Studies to reflect its growing influence on the university. During Dr. Schmisek's tenure, enrollment in the school's Master's degree programs have increased from 26 students in 2002 to 130 students in 2007.
