UNT President to feature speak at Dallas Morning News’ Distinguished Women Leaders Lecture Series
This Thursday (Nov. 1) from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Westin Park Central, UNT President Gretchen Bataille will hold forth as featured speaker in the latest installment of the Distinguished Women Leaders Lecture Series sponsored by the Dallas Morning News.
Dr. Bataille took up the reigns at the University of North Texas earlier this year after serving as chief academic officer of the University of North Carolina system, where she was a tenured professor of English at Chapel Hill.
The lecture series originated in 1990 when then-U.S. Secretary of Labor Elizabeth Dole took the podium; currently the series features three events per year centering on the achievements of (and challenges faced by) women leaders in the business arena.
