Along with three other Texas institutions (Texas Tech, UT El Paso and Univ. of Houston), Texas Christian University will benefit from the division and distribution of over 28,000 Polaroid and gelatin silver prints from the Andy Warhol Foundation's Photographic Legacy Program.

Roland G. Watson, chairman of TCU's Art & Art History Department, says: "They (the photographs) will be a great study collection for our students in many areas - photography, studio art, art history and art education."

The photos are expected to arrive in Fort Worth sometime in January - which either means that they won't leave New York City until shortly before then, or they're being shipped via revived pony express service.
