McKinney ISD Partners in Education: Governor Rick Perry

AUSTIN - Texas Governor Rick Perry recently spoke at the 30th Annual Governor's Volunteer Leadership Conference in Galveston Texas and took a moment to meet with McKinney ISD Partners in Education Coordinator Nancy Cowlishaw.

Perry's presentation to the conference emphasized the importance of volunteering in communities and schools. The Governor met briefly with Nancy Cowlishaw, Coordinator of Partners in Education with McKinney ISD, to discuss McKinney ISD's volunteer and mentoring program.
