Police on a crime-busting rampage in Deep Ellum and Mockingbird area
They're sending a message. Laying down the law.
DALLAS Police are stepping up their attention to crime in the area around Mockingbird Lane and North Central Expressway and in Deep Ellum. That includes posting notices at apartment complexes and on cars (which Channel 11 says were "near the intersection of Elm Street and Commerce Street" -- except that those streets do not intersect). Police have made some arrests already and they think these suspects may be responsible for dozens of crimes in the city.

Bill Baumbach, says:
What a poor choice of words in your headline!
I read your story and the referred Channel 11 piece. Busting burglers is hardly a "rampage".
