A lock of hair from the head of Argentinian revolutionary Che Guevara is going to be auctioned off by Heritage Auctions of Dallas, as part of a Che Guevara scrapbook that includes photos of his body, a map, messages between Che and his rebel gang, and a set of his fingerprints.
Heritage is acting on behalf of Gustavo Villoldo, 71, a former CIA operative and Cuban exile who says the lock of hair was snipped before Che was buried in 1967. Villoldo was involved in Guevara's capture, so he is probably a really really nice man. You can tell by his quote:
"It's time for me to put the past behind and pass these on to someone else," he says.

The Beach Boys with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra Beach Boy trivia: Though surfing was a prominent theme in many of the Beach Boys' early songs, Dennis Wilson was the only original member who surfed. "Kokomo" was the Beach Boys' first hit in 20 years and ended up being their biggest selling single. Paul McCartney once said that "God Only Knows" was the most beautiful pop song ever written.
