UPDATED x2: Mansfield football player collapses, dies during game
Sophomore Dozie Njeako was 15-years-old.
On Thursday evening, a Mansfield Summit High School football player inexplicably collapsed and died during a game.
Dozie Njeako, a 15-year-old sophomore, was jogging to the sidelines following a play in the game against South Grand Prairie. CPR was attempted as Njeako was transferred to Methodist Mansfield Medical Center, where he died.
