Local wags speculate on where in Dallas George Bush will live
DALLAS President George Bush has said he'll move back to Dallas after leaving Washington, D.C. But where in Dallas? Extravagant digs, or a more modest and comfortable home? A sprawling estate along Preston Road? Or back to his old Preston Hollow neighborhood? A 24,000-square-foot Italian estate house with concrete-reinforced walls under construction on Beverly Drive? Or an over-sized vacant lot near the Dallas Country Club and Turtle Creek? Or will he follow the lead of Bill Clinton, who maintains an apartment inside his presidential library? This DMN story is a bravado piece of writing because it relies completely on bits and pieces of data cobbled with a bunch of neat gossipy speculation from Park Cities people who don't want to be quoted.

We've got a spare bedroom if he'd like to stay with my wife and I. I bet Laura's a hoot after a couple of glasses of wine.

I had a feeling that one way or another I would eventually have to leave all that I have worked for because of him.
