TCC Southeast to host Historically Black College and Universities College Fair Sept. 15

The fair is being held in conjunction with national Historically Black College and University Week which is Sept. 8-15.

— Tarrant County College Southeast Campus will host the Historically Black College and Universities College Fair on Saturday, September 15, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the North Ballroom and Commons area.

It is the first time the fair has been held in Tarrant County.

Recruiters from more than 20 historically black Texas and U.S. colleges and universities will provide information regarding the admissions process and college life on their respective campuses. Workshops on financial aid and the FAFSA-Free Application for Federal Student Aid will also be part of the event.

The 34-foot TCC Mobile Go unit, a traveling resource center equipped with laptop computers and a satellite connection to the Internet for use by students, will also be at the site. The fair is being held in conjunction with national Historically Black College and University Week which is Sept. 8-15. The event is free and open to the public.
