Carrollton’s R. L. Turner High School and DeWitt Perry Middle School robitics teams excel
CARROLLTON Carrollton’s R. L. Turner High School robotics team enjoyed an extremely successful year, earning the right to compete in the International Botball Competition, held in conjunction with the National Conference on Educational Robotics.
The team and coach Sherry Murray traveled to Honolulu, Hawaii in July where they competed against over 65 teams from the United States, Poland and Japan.
Likewise, the DeWitt Perry Middle School robotics team had a successful year and also competed in the International Botball Competition in Hawaii.
The DeWitt Perry team was ranked as the top middle school team at the conference and competed against high schools, college prep schools, vocational and technical schools and charter and magnet schools.
