Cedar Hill hosting “Coffee with the Chiefs” breakfast meeting
Citizens can chat with the Chiefs of Police for both the city and the school district over a hot cup of joe. A donut joke, you say? Yes. Yes, surely.
All Cedar Hill ISD and city citizens are invited to meet the Chief of Police for the City of Cedar Hill as well as the Chief of Police for Cedar Hill ISD. The 1st scheduled monthly meeting will take place on Saturday, October 6, 2007 at the Cedar Hill Recreation Center located at 310 E. Parkerville Road from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
According to the CHISD, the purpose of "Coffee with the Chiefs" is for our citizens/customers:
1. To meet and get to know the police chiefs and see how each department works operationally and works together collaboratively to ensure that both the City and the District is the premier location of choice for families and businesses.
2. To obtain firsthand knowledge of what each police department is doing and communicating to ensure that Cedar Hill is and remains safe while becoming a model city for others to emulate as a showcase to the nation.
3. To obtain valuable community and citizen input on what the police departments, city, district and citizens can do collaboratively to make both the City and School District premier.
4. To disseminate valuable and current "hot topics" of interest to our citizens and stimulate more community involvement, support and satisfaction of City and School District police services.
