Going to Bolivia? Get a visa.
If Bolivia should be in your future travel plans, be aware that starting December 1 this country, otherwise known as, "The Tibet of the Americas" will start requiring U.S. tourists to have visas.
It's all part of the growing trend among South American countries to treat U.S. citizens the same as their own people are treated when they enter the United States.
According to Bolivia's President Evo Morales, "it's a matter of reciprocity."
Whatever. It still means that an extra $134 for a 30-day tourist visa must be added to the travel budget.
