Join ExtremeDFW in supporting local bands

The good Samaritans over at XtremeDFW.com have decided to coordinate efforts to support local musicians/bands that fall under their genres of choice, including metal and hardcore. As part of this viral marketing/local promotion scheme fans will vote each month for what DFW band they most prefer to circle the wagons around and are given various suggestions for how to participate.

The band for this month is Neuropathy, a thrash metal band out of Dallas. XtremeDFW provides some of the following suggestions for ways to support the band via MySpace through September:

• First add them to your top 8 for all of September on Myspace
• Write a blurb about them on your about me section on Myspace
• Do a blog entry on the band
• If you belong to a group, ask members to check them out. Also, send messages to your friends to check them out
• If you have a personal page, add one of their songs as you main song for the entire month
