Plano-based JC Penney to launch “Americana” line

J.C. Penney Co. has developed a new "American Living" brand of clothing, home products, and accessories in partnership with Polo Ralph Lauren's Global Brand Concepts that'll be introduced through a new ad campaign during the Academy Awards in February. It features men's and women's apparel, accessories and home furnishings. Marketing officer Michael Boylson calls it "very much Americana."
