Cowboys receiver Terry Glenn undergoes second knee surgery

Email Print Tell us your story Comment

— Dallas Cowboys receiver Terry Glenn had arthroscopic surgery on his right knee for the second time in six weeks Thursday.

Glenn reinjured his knee last week when he tried to return to practice for the first time since the initial surgery Aug. 1 to remove a cyst. That surgery was just a week into training camp.

Glenn's doctor says that more extensive microfracture procedures may be needed later, but the Cowboys haven't ruled out Glenn returning to play this season.

Glenn is coming off consecutive 1,000-yard receiving seasons with the Cowboys, his third NFL team.
