Loop 12 closed this weekend in Mesquite
MESQUITE — The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will close northbound and southbound Loop 12 at I-30 in Mesquite to allow for the removal of bridge beams on a temporary bridge structure. This work will take place beginning at 7 p.m., Saturday, September 15 through 11:30 a.m., Sunday, September 16.
During this time period, all traffic will be diverted to the frontage roads.
Message boards announcing the roadway closure have been placed in both directions along Loop 12 to notify the public of the scheduled closure. Law enforcement will also be present to help with traffic control.
