Grapevine gets first victory of the season
Before the season, MaxPreps.com thought Grapevine was the eighth-best team in Texas. After a 28-20 defeat in the their season opener against Flower Mound Marcus, the Mustangs dropped from the rankings and looked to the next game against Flower Mound.
Grapevine (1-1) responded by orchestrating a 13-point third quarter to break away from the Jaguars (1-1) to seal a 20-7 victory.
