Downtown Fort Worth entering era of million-dollar condos
FORT WORTH Does Fort Worth have a market for million-dollar condominiums? The developer who is trying to sell four million-dollar penthouses at the top of the old Bank One office building acknowledges he's done a less-than-stellar job marketing them by holding off on selling them for a year, "to generate anticipation". Glad that worked out; now he can't get rid of them. This is the Bank One building that got trashed by a tornado in 2000.
More million-dollar units are coming to the new Omni Hotel being built near the Fort Worth Convention Center; a condo building called Villa de Leon on the north side of downtown; and another on the east side called Le Bijou.

I love my 200K condo in dowtown FW, but if I had a million dollars to spend on a DFW residence...I would go to Dallas! Well, actually I would buy a beachhouse in Florida...

Dallas needs a great downtown.....like Seattle! Seattle's is so liveable and walkable, although a tad expensive....
