Mexican director José "Pepe" Bojorquez's feature film Sea of Dreams opens in wide U.S. release this Friday (Sept. 21). To promote the film, lead actor Johnathon Schaech visited Dallas briefly last week to make himself available for interviews.
Along with Frank Swietek, I took the opportunity to visit Johnathon in his suite at the W Dallas Hotel last Wednesday (Sept. 12) and ask him a few questions about the movie and his career in film.
A review of Sea of Dreams will post this weekend; in the meantime here's our recorded interview.
NOTES:
You'll recognize Frank's voice as the deep, resonant, cultured one and mine as the nasal, whiny one. Just for the record.
The "ex" of whom Johnathon speaks at the beginning of our conversation (as he's commenting on my Tony Lama lizards) is Christina Applegate.
