Venton Jones

Venton Jones

— I’m speaking with Venton Jones of Abounding Prosperity, Inc., an organization that addresses the health, social, and economic disparities among African American men and their families in Dallas.

Venton shares his experience in raising awareness for the work of AP, especially among local black gays who may be apprehensive to accepting AP’s mission and work due to the troubled existence of the former South Dallas agency, Renaissance III.

Venton’s suggestion for the skeptical? Get involved

Also, I’m featuring my wrap-up of this past weekend of Pride in Dallas, including PRIDE-N-POP!

Plus, I have a small piece by ToribasixKeiteintervisionKurtKellygalactic to share. It’s shared best with at my Last.FM page.
