Dallas Summer Musicals brings The Lion King through town this week
The Dallas Summer Musicals is bringing the stage phenomenon The Lion King to the Music Hall at Fair Park from September 20 - October 21 and tickets are still available.
You can purchase tickets online or by calling 214-631-ARTS.
The Tony Award winning Broadway sensation is visually-stunning and technically-astounding with a musical score like none other you’ve ever heard: pulsating rhythms of the African Pridelands and an unforgettable score including Elton John and Tim Rice’s Oscar®-winning song “Can You Feel The Love Tonight” and “Circle of Life.”
Giraffes strut, birds swoop, gazelles leap, and animals brought to life by a cast of more than 40 actors. You will marvel at the inspiration of award-winning director Julie Taymor, who created visual images for this show that you’ll remember forever. The entire savannah comes to life and as the music soars, Pride Rock slowly emerges from the mist. Newsweek calls it "a landmark event in entertainment, and The New York Times says, "There is simply nothing else like it."
Here is a preview of the spectacle you will witness if you see this show, which you should:
