Dallas councilman wants to ban saggy pants in Dallas
DISD School Board Trustee Ron Price tried to ban saggy pants last year and failed. After similar ordinances across the country, however, Dallas Mayor Pro-Tem Dwayne Caraway plans to introduce his own ordinance against saggy pants next month. The ordinance would be policed as a civil offense. But what if instead of saggy pants, they just stop wearing pants? Let's not forget there is a whole holiday dedicated to wearing no pants. What are you going to do then, huh? You're going to wish you let people sag their pants, that's what.

you'd think aarp would be vocal opponents to this type of measure. I guess they have more important things to worry about as well.
"We're picking on everybody that's sagging and wearing their pants below the belt, disrespecting, it is nowhere near racial profiling," Caraway said.
Are they really gonna arrest an 80 year old white guy who's pants are sagging? Because they could make a living doing that where I work.

Come down to Oak Cliff & South Dallas and see if this isn't something that's needed.
If you don't like it, there's always Plano.

Honestly who wants to see someones butt crack or tasteless underwear all the time, pull up your pants!!! Besides what is the point on wearing pants that you are walking around holding up half the time anyway? It doesn't look cool the way you think it does. It makes you look like a thug! Oh by the way, what if you had to actually take off running?? May just trip on those saggy pants you think look so cool.

They would be doing the police department a great disservice, I've read that 90% of street crime offenders are aprehended because their pants fall to their ankles during pursuit. How are our wonderful DPD officers going to catch them if they can run?
