Arlington ISD refusing to pay its water bill
Increase in storm-water fees is viewed as absurd by school district.

The Arlington ISD is mad as hell and they're not going to take it anymore. Faced with an increase to their storm-water fees that borders on the ridiculous, a 110% increase from $72,000 per year to $179,000 per year, they are flat-out refusing to pay it. The district is hoping the city council will declare them exempt from the increase, and is calling on all of its students' parents to contact their representatives.
