Texas Christian University's Theatre Department is already beginning their mainstage season this week with Anatomy of Gray. The show only runs for this week, from September 25-28 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, September 30 at 2:30 & 7:30 p.m. There will be no show on September 29.

Although the title may sound like it has something to do with Grey's Anatomy, it doesn't. It is actually set in Indiana during the late 1800s, and deals with death, loss, love, and healing in a unique coming of age story. When June's father dies, she prays for a healer to come to the small town of Gray, so that no one will ever suffer again; the next thing she knows, there's a tornado, and a man in a balloon blows into town claiming to be a doctor. At first, the new doctor cures anything and everything, but soon the town's preacher takes ill with a mysterious plague. And then the plague begins to spread.

The show features, Tricia Williamson, Sydney Baumgart and Daniel Fredrick and takes place in the Hays Theatre in the Walsh Center for Performing Arts. For tickets, call 817-257-5770.
