ADDISON Addison Oktoberfest, held last week, set a record for people in attendance, with over 58,000 beer lovers showing up for the 20th anniversary edition of the festival. In addition to such traditions as a group wedding vow renewal and dachshund races, a special attempt at a Guinness World Record for Largest Simultaneous Yodel fell a few hundred yodelers short.
No word on how many drunk revelers got confused by the mayhem and tried in engage in all three activities at once.
