Rahim Quazi releases Carter Albrecht tribute song
Got the following note from Rahim Quazi in my email this morning with the subject line "A song in honor of Carter":
Hey Mike
I just wrote and recorded this song, The Sparrow Has landed. please feel free to post it or use it any way you feel
The tune is entitled "The Sparrow Has Landed" and is available to stream or download here.
It starts appropriately somber but builds to a hopeful crescendo. It's a very nice tribute, and I imagine the first of many to come.
Carter Albrecht, for readers who might not know, was recently killed in a late-night disturbance in East Dallas.
