Armed man surrenders after two-hour standoff in south Dallas
He faces deadly weapon charges, but at least nothing worse happened.
After a tense two hours, an armed man lowered his gun and surrendered to Dallas police late Thursday evening. Police had responded to a call about a shooting at approximately 9:30 p.m., within the 3000 block of East Ledbetter Drive, and found the armed suspect hiding inside his apartment. He faces deadly weapon charges, but at least nothing worse happened.
