0

The Securities Exchange Commission has filed a lawsuit against a group of attorneys including three in Dallas for selling more than $18 million worth of illegal, unregistered securities and making off with the profits.

Named in the lawsuit are attorneys Phillip Offill, 48, of Dallas, and David Stocker, 47, of Phoenix, Ariz., who allegedly coordinated an illegal scheme "to evade the registration requirements of federal securities laws by offering and selling the securities to six companies to the public when no registration statements were in effect for their sales transactions." Also named in the suit are defendants Shane Mulholland, 37, and Ryan Reynolds, 35, both of Dallas, along with Timothy Page, 57, of Austin, and Steven Fisher, 41, of Bonita Springs, Fla. Companies involved in the scheme include Curtis-Case, Inc.; RSMR Capital Group; Dissemination Services LLC; Page Properties LP; and ATN Enterprises LLC.
