Hurst Fire Department to hold open house
Jaws of life? Say no more.
On Saturday, September 29th, the Hurst Fire Department will be hosting an open house at Fire Station #1, located at 2100 Precinct Line Road.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., interested residents can see demonstrations every half hour of "high angle rescue and extrication." What is that? I don't know.
Ambulances, fire trucks and the air ambulance will be on hand. Hot dogs and drinks will be served.
The City of Hurst operates two fire stations, and the City of Fort Worth operates the third fire station under a contractual agreement.
The flier says it all.
