UT Dallas Faculty at Five to feature Acoustic Quartet on Oct. 10
The Acoustic Quartet will perform on The University of Texas at Dallas School of Arts and Humanities Faculty at Five series in the Jonsson Performance Hall on Wednesday, Oct. 10, at 5:00 p.m.
The Acoustic Quartet, featuring Mary Medrick on accordion, Winston Stone on clarinet, Amy Faires on violin and Stone Savage on bass, performs music from a variety of Western cultures. The free concert will include sultry French ballades to Polish polkas and includes Viennese waltzes, Cajun Zydeco, Le Jazz Hot, and Klezmer.

UT Dallas’ School of Arts & Humanities’ Faculty at Five series is an informal concert series, created and sponsored by the music faculty, usually during the second or third week of each month. These concerts feature UT Dallas’ own faculty and invited guests performing and talking about music making. The concerts take place in the Jonsson Performance Hall and are free and open to the public.
The School of Arts & Humanities at UT Dallas offers a dynamic and integrated approach to education that fosters the critical, creative and communicative skills necessary for success in the culturally diverse, technologically rich and change-intensive environment of the 21st Century.
