PlainsCapital putting not one but TWO bank locations at Victory Park
DALLAS PlainsCapital Corp., the second-largest privately held bank in Texas, is opening not one but two branches in Victory Park.
How big is its commitment to Victory Park? It's moving its headquarters there to One Victory Park, where it'll have a branch on the ground floor. But people at the other end of Victory Park might not want to walk that couple of blocks. Even though Victory Park is supposed to be an "urban" area. So PlainsCapital is putting in a second branch in the Cirque high-rise tower, currently under construction on the north end of Victory Park.
Whatever. Development is good. It's better than an empty space. Etcetera etcetera. But really, can't we get a moratorium on banks? Enough already.
