Police arrest four in northeast Dallas, recover stolen Halloween decorations

— Four suspects were arrested after police found stolen Halloween decorations in their possession, not to mention some drugs and guns.

These were the $1,000 worth of decorations, Halloween displays, and handmade coffin that NBC 5 reported stolen from two yards near La Prada and Oates.

What is the world coming to when two neighbors can't put a bunch of Halloween stuff in their front yard in mid- to late-September and not have it snatched out from under them? It's the first time they've had anything stolen. It's not the money that bothers them -- it's the childrens. The childrens who come expecting to see four coffins in a yard and find only three. That's what's at stake here.

The great thing is that Dallas police apprehended the four suspects after someone provided them with a tip. "Hello, Officer? Those stolen inflatable ghosts you're looking for are in the 3200 block of Millmar Drive, east of White Rock Lake." Be sure to check out NBC 5's ooky-spooky camera work in the video; it rocks back and forth and is pretty silly.
