Friday:
- The Deep Ellum Arts Festival begins Friday. Check out tough girl show Nancy, George and Bess while you're there.
- Hal Samples is having an opening reception in conjunction with the Deep Ellum Arts Festival at his new gallery, Space Studio, featuring his new works.
- JD Miller will paint live at the closing reception for Envelope of Life at Reflection Fine Art.
- Cerulean Gallery is having an opening reception for Lyrical Passage, featuring work by Kim Wyly and Solange Mariel.
Saturday:
- Park Cities Presbyterian Church's (PCPC) 2nd annual Arts Festival starts Saturday and runs through the 13th at the Gables Villa Rosa.
- The Irving Arts Center is having it's Spring Fling children's art festival. Obviously, this is a good one for the kids.
- The Deep Ellum Arts Festival continues, for those of you who had plans on Friday. Check out Clean, presented by ArtLoveMagic at Mokah Coffee Bar. The show starts at 8 and continues through midnight.
- Canvas Gallery off Exposition is having an open house with Joey Seeman.
- Pan American is opening the Magnus Sigurdarson / Leon Ferrari show.
- The John Frost exhibit at mighty fine arts opens Saturday.
- 500X is having a reception for the Tina Medina: Anima Animus / Diane Sikes: Babelating show. DJ Jeff Ross will be sharing tunes at the event.
- Continental Lofts is having quite a shindig also, opening Roller Derby Does Art with Miss Marcy and her Texas Sugar Daddys.
