Suburbs and school districts cancel May 10 elections
Several town council and board of education elections May 10th have been canceled due to a lack of challengers. Among them:
- Bartonville Town Council
- Copper Canyon City Council
- Denton ISD Board of Trustees
- Edgecliff Village Town Council
- Everman City Council
- Hurst City Council
- Lake Dallas City Council
- Lake Worth ISD Board of Trustees
- Lewisville ISD Board of Trustees
- Richland Hills City Council
- River Oaks City Council
- Shady Shores Town Council
- Westover Hills Town Council
Other cities with uncontested races may cancel later. Meanwhile, to vote in May 10 town, school board, and bond elections, you must register by Thursday, April 10. Early voting starts April 28.
