Grand Hyatt DFW to offer six-course meal on April 11 as part of Grapevine’s big wine fest

DFW INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT Grand Hyatt DFW, adjoined to the state-of-the-art International Terminal D at DFW International Airport, is helping to kick off the Grapevine Convention & Visitors Bureau's New Vintage Wine & Gallery Trail with a first-class food- and wine-pairing experience. The special event is part of the Bureau's 16th Annual Blessing of the Vines and New Vintage Wine & Gallery Trail, running from April 11 through April 19.
On Friday April 11 at 7 p.m., participants can visit the signature Grand Met restaurant at the Grand Hyatt DFW, where they can savor a six-course meal paired with fine Texas wines made from wineries in Grapevine that is prepared by Chef de Cuisine Ian Beach.
The special six-course meal prepared in signature Grand Met style includes:
- a selection of canapés accompanied by a Chinon blanc
- kampachi crudo with ume shisso and blood oranges accompanied by a Titos vodka blood orange martini
- seared foie gras with cinnamon and pistachio with a Roy Mitchell cream sherry from La Bodega Vineyard, butter poached lobster and roasted apples with a blanc du bois from Haak Winery
- roast bandera county quail with apricots and lavender accompanied by a viogner by Becker Vineyards
- seared filet of beef with sea salt crust, roasted ceps and Tempranillo cabernet sauvignon from Inwood Estates
- Dark chocolate fondant and pink peppercorn brittle with vintage port from Becker Vineyards
Dining from the pre-fix menu is $120 per person, plus taxes and gratuities. Reservations can be made by calling the Grand Met restaurant at 972-973-1244. Complimentary valet parking is available with ticket validation.
