FC Dallas drew even with the Houston Dynamo in a high scoring match on Sunday afternoon. Houston's Franco Caraccio opened scoring in the 21st minute off an assist from Corey Ashe. Kenny Cooper then answered in the 35th minute, and again in the 45th minute to put Dallas up 2-1 going into halftime. Cooper's goals gave him the first multi-goal game of his MLS career.

While the Dynamo's Brian Ching put his team back on the board with a tying goal in the 57th minute, only to go back down a minute later when Arturo Alvarez nabbed Dallas' third. After a scoreless half hour, Geoff Cameron, with help from Ching, claimed the tying goal in the match to keep Dallas from getting their first ever win in Houston. Dallas did, however, come away from the humid hell-hole that is Houston with their first point.
