High school seniors with dreams of a career in the culinary industry will at The Art Institute of Dallas on Saturday April 12 for the Local Cook-off Competition event in The Art Institutes Best Teen Chef 2008 Competition.
At stake is an opportunity to move onto the Best Teen Chef Final Round Competition 2008 to be held in Las Vegas, NV, on Saturday, May 17, where finalists vie for a full tuition scholarship to study Culinary Arts at one of The International Culinary Schools at The Art Institutes and the title Best Teen Chef 2008.
Open to high school seniors across the U.S. and Canada (excluding Quebec), the Best Teen Chef competition, now in its 9th year, was created to recognize, reward and encourage young culinary talent at the high school level.
