The Live Green Expo, taking place this Saturday, April 12 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Plano Centre, is a fun, family event that will help North Texans make informed decisions and take action to lead more healthy lives with less impact on our environment. Free to the public, the Expo will feature exhibitors offering a wide selection of products, services and information. In addition, the Expo will include dozens of presentations on a variety of topics, music, art, food, demonstrations and activities for youth and children.
The Live Green Expo strives to create a community in which:
* We protect our environment by conserving resources, minimizing waste and reducing toxic products and materials.
* We have healthy ecosystems and sustainable neighborhoods.
* We protect our environment by conserving resources, minimizing waste and reducing toxic products and materials.
The Live Green Expo is designed around nine core values:
Transportation
Energy
Yard and Garden
Indoor Air Quality
Food and Agriculture
Waste Reduction
Lifestyle and Recreation
Water
Green Building and Remodeling
The Live Green Expo invites organizations and businesses that support our objectives to join us in producing this unique community-oriented event. Event sponsorship is a mutually-beneficial partnership that provides that cash and in-kind support necessary for us to reach an increasingly broad audience and offer a quality event. Sponsors partnering with the Live Green Expo benefit in many ways, including the acknowledgement of their commitment to a better environment. Sponsorship opportunities are available.
