Another WiMAX provider has high hopes for Dallas area

Towerstream, a fixed-WiMAX service provider, recently announced the launch of its wireless broadband solution in the Dallas-Forth Worth metropolitan area. Towerstream is now able to deliver high availability fixed WiMAX services to area businesses of all sizes.
"The Dallas Fort-Worth metro market is a significant opportunity for Towerstream to expand its customer base with many regional and national corporate headquarters located within the city's large business community," said Towerstream president/CEO Jeff Thompson.
The range of bandwidth options include T1, T3, 100, and 1000 Mbps connections, delivering high-speed Internet access supporting VoIP, bandwidth on demand, wireless redundancy, VPNs, disaster recovery, bundled data, and video services.
