Calloway's Nursery, Inc. will close its four locations and leave the San Antonio market at the end of May, announced Jim Estill, president and chief executive officer for Calloway's.

"We are redeploying our assets at this time," Estill said. "We continually seek ways to allocate our resources to best serve customers while sustaining a healthy and prosperous business."

Deep discounts on select merchandise are underway. The company expects to do business until the merchandise is cleared out of each store through the month of May.

Founded in 1986, Calloway's currently owns and operates 16 stores in Dallas/Fort Worth, four in San Antonio and three in Houston
