A total of $170 million in renovations to be invested into the Sheraton Dallas and Sheraton Denver and properties alone will add more than 3,000 rooms and 360,000 square feet of meeting space to the Sheraton brand.

“Since Starwood management acquisition in early February, we have been working diligently to become an 'official' Sheraton,” stated Ray Hammer, the hotel’s general manager. “Existing Adam’s Mark staff members as well as brand new associates alike are looking forward to working for Starwood’s largest brand.”

The official opening date comes at a time when Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. largest and most global brand, is initiating the most aggressive global expansion in the brand’s history, with 54 hotels scheduled to open and 20,000 new rooms to be added to the brand by 2009.
