Glass from Fort Worth buildings causes street closures
DR Horton tower hears a "who dropped this friggin' glass panel?"
Thanks to the severe weather that passed through the area Thursday morning (April 10), an office building in downtown Fort Worth (the DR Horton tower at 301 Commerce Street) began shedding glass panels, causing the area around the building to be closed off by police while workers replace the glass.
These intersections will be closed through Friday morning:
Main St. at 2nd
Main St. at 3rd
Main St. at 4th
Commerce St. at 1st
Commerce St. at 2nd
Commerce St at 3rd
Calhoun St. at 2nd
Calhoun St. at 3rd
Calhoun St. at 4th
Since high winds stopped workers from gearing up on Thursday, it's expected to be well after the lunch hour on Friday (April 11) before the work is done and the streets are reopened.

Nice work, John. To those who have sent notes asking that we take that down, not a chance...
