Police accident reports in Texas will exclude victims’ phone numbers
Ambulance-chasing attorneys, chiropractors, insurance agents, and people trying to defraud victims of accidents will no longer be able to see phone numbers on police reports. The change in many cities statewide will begin today, and is expected to be in full effect by June 1. The switch will also help protect privacy as an increasing number of cities post police reports online.
