Call for visual and performing artists for A Creative Call: The Response of Artists to the Flow of the Spirit

Email Print Tell us your story Comment

This is a short-notice call for artists, as City Gallery partnered with Cathedral of Hope's Artist Guild have dreamed up a last minute show. The exciting narrative of Pentecost (in the book of Acts 2:1-21) is about the dynamic infusion of the Spirit into the early church. Throughout history, the Spirit has continued to appear, often in places where we don't expect it. As artists, how and where do we see the Spirit moving in our world today? As artists, how do we participate in the swooping creative flow and energy of the Spirit?

The opening reception will take place May 10 from 7-9 at the Cathedral of Hope, 5910 Cedar Springs Road, Dallas. The show will run through June.

Saturday Tastings in the Wine and Beer Department Little Joey just LOVES the Saturday wine tastings at Central Market - he particularly likes the blind tastings, when he can sneak a snort while Mommie's not looking. (Great nose!) More info
