Dallas Stars asking fans to wear black for next two home playoff games
The team will be giving away black t-shirts to the first 15,000 fans.
DALLAS According to the Dallas Stars official website, Stars forward Steve Ott and his teammates are encouraging all fans to wear black to all of the Stars home playoff games.
“It’s that time of year where everyone needs to step up their game,” Ott said. “The players and coaches need to do it and we’re asking the fans to do it too. We have some of the best fans in the league and they really do give us a home-ice advantage with their noise and support of the team.
“We’re asking all fans to wear the home team color of black to our games and really make American Airlines Center a great playoff atmosphere.”
The Stars will be giving away black playoff T-shirts to the first 15,000 fans at American Airlines Center for Game 3 – Tuesday, April 15. And of course the traditional white playoff towels will be given out for every home game.
“It will make for an incredible atmosphere,” Ott said. “The fans are a big part of our success. They can help you find energy when you need it late in a game and literally act as a seventh player out there for us.”

I heard that Marty Turco did not think this was such a good idea, too hard to see the puck in that sea of black.
Not all promotions can be this successful as the one below.

Game 4 needs to be "win night". They need to put a stranglehold on this series.
