Mansfield City Council will leave mosquito spraying policy to the pros
The Mansfield City Council decided on Monday night to let staff members decide when to spray for mosquitoes. In the old 'Skeeter Reich, the council would send out the spray trucks whenever a resident would complain. The new program will send sprayers only after several mosquitoes in an area have been identified as carrying West Nile or other nasty things.
