Dallas City Council looking at candidates to fill DART Board

Email Print Tell us your story Comment

The Dallas City Council is in the process of interviewing candidates to appoint to the DART Board. Given the holy mess that's gone down with that organization, the process is already controversial but even moreso considering that one of the candidates is "hard-nosed" Joyce Foreman, who was kicked off the board in August 2007. Also being considered: Dr. Beverly Mitchell Brooks, president of the Urban League of Greater Dallas and attorney Angel Reyes, who was nominated without opposition for a separate seat.
