Parker City Council agenda includes talk of trails, speed limits and street maintenance
Individual consideration items on the Parker City Council agenda for April 22 include:
* Consideration/action on a Texas Parks & Wildlife recreational trails grant
* Consideration of approval of Ordinance 621 amending the prima facie speed limits
* Consideration/action on bidding options for the city street maintenance contract
* Consideration/action on agreements/bids surrounding McCreary Road project
* Consideration/action on a city mission statement
(On this last agenda item, let me humbly suggest: "We are Parker and will continue to be Parker to the best of our ability until our name officially changes.")
The meeting takes place in Parker City Hall at 6 p.m.

For a city mission might I suggest "an ongoing committment to keep our noses out of peoples business, and try not to busy body citizens to the point where they want to move out and burn the place down in their wake"! Or just something simple to the same effect!
