Fort Worth hotel clerk found dead at his station

Email Print Tell us your story Comment (1)

Judging by the fact that hotel residents heard gunfire at around 4 a.m., and the body of the desk clerk was found at his station a short time later, it seems probable that he was shot to death, even though police investigators have not yet confirmed his manner of death.

The as-yet unnamed man was working the front desk of the Best Western Hotel at 6500 I.H. 35W, just south of Altamesa Blvd. in Fort Worth. The body of the man was found by a hotel customer; investigators say that the till was open, and thus robbery appears to be the motive.

The police investigation continues.
