Recipients for the 2007-2008 Sulentic Family Foundation scholarship are selected

DALLAS The Dallas Independent School District has announced the recipients of the 2007-2008 Sulentic Family Foundation Scholarship.
Last school year, the Sulentic Family Foundation established a $1 million scholarship program with Dallas ISD. Each year, between 2007 and 2011, the district will select 10 graduating students to receive a $20,000 scholarship each.
"With the scholarships provided to Dallas ISD students by the Sulentic Family Foundation, the students are making true their dream to go to college," said Superintendent of Schools Michael Hinojosa. "The Sulentic Family is helping us to graduate students and get them ready for college, and we greatly appreciate their support."
This year’s recipients are:
- Thai Minh Cao, Bryan Adams High School
- Cynthia Jannette Mondragon, School of Business and Management at Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Center
- Robinson Look, Hillcrest High School
- Gustavo Angulo, Middle College High School
- Luz Emilla Gomez, North Dallas High School
- Damoniece La Erica Lowe, Skyline High School
- Roxana Rodriguez, Skyline High School
- Yolanda Flores, H. Grady Spruce High School
- Juan Carlos Gonzalez, Sunset High School
- Philip Schwab, Woodrow Wilson High School
